Rolus is a challenger in a very crowded space. The brand needs to stand out against a category full of soft gradients, hyper-bravado and pseudo-science. That’s why Rolus is bold, self-assured, and no-nonsense. It doesn’t over complicate. And it doesn’t overthink.
The brand combines a pared-back colour palette, a confident and unadorned graphic system, and a bold use of typography. It focuses on capturing moments in time to demonstrate Rolus’ ability to go where you go—from day to night.
Rolus doesn’t overthink it. This attitude informed how we brought the tone of voice to life. It’s unapologetic, uncomplicated, and self-aware. We get to the point. And we’re not afraid to call out industry nonsense. Our voice brings to life moments in time – from morning yoga to happy hour.
Rolus is predominantly available direct to consumers in the US, so the brand needed to be digital-first, without compromising on storytelling.
Product discovery is woven into the brand story. Every click, scroll, and rollover is designed to blend product discovery with narrative. And, naturally, as a drink that’s designed to take its consumers from day to night, the messaging dynamically changes over 24 hours.
