The New Zealand Best Awards attracts hundreds of phenomenal entries every year and the standard of work that gets recognised through the various categories of graphic, spatial, product, interactive and motion design never ceases to amaze us.

We flew across the ditch early Friday morning with the time difference absorbing most of our day, got ready and headed straight to the event. Crowds of eager creatives flocked through the doors of Spark Arena and straight to the cocktail bar.

This year saw some incredible projects and it’s very inspiring to see the creative work that those clever Kiwis are achieving. We were honoured to take home four awards ourselves, all in the Design Craft category. Sydney Design Festival 2019 and OneVentures both won Silver, and Heritage and CommBank Start Smart won Bronze.

Once the awards finished up, we celebrated our wins at the afterparty, where the time difference finally worked in our favour.
